Group Manager- Global Engineering Services

Global Engineering Services (GES) at Magna is a technology-driven organization focused on development, test automation, and validation of advanced system solutions – primarily within Generic Surveillance Equipment (GSE). GSE is a platform for testing and validating smart cameras and electronic components in vehicles, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

As Group Manager GSE, you will lead a skilled team of system engineers and software developers working with test tool development and automation for DV/PV, series production testing, and PQA, as well as data validation for smart cameras and integration of complex systems including AutoSAR, Functional Safety (FuSa), and cybersecurity.

You will drive technological progress, continuous improvement, and competence growth while ensuring high-quality deliveries and close collaboration with production, development, quality, and IT.

This role is part of the local management team in our Linköping office and reports to a global manager.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Proven experience as a manager, ideally in tech-driven environments
• Background in test, software, and hardware development
• Knowledge of test equipment development and data validation
• Good understanding of production system integration and automation
• Experience from an international/global organization
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

In this role, you will lead a team of system and software engineers, driving development and innovation within GSE where technical expertise and collaboration are central to success.

To effectively support the team, you should have competence in Embedded C, Lua scripting, and AutoSAR (including understanding code for bus simulation), as well as basic knowledge of Functional Safety (FuSa) and Cybersecurity.
