Ericsson AB Join our Team About Us We are a small, cross-functional product engineering team responsible for building and maintaining a desktop application that helps internal engineers and external customers design, size, and configure deployments quickly and reliably. Our tool focuses on dimensioning and deployment configuration, enabling users to iterate on deployment options with confidence.  Our team is based in Karlskrona, a picturesque World Heritage town in southern Sweden. The Role As a Software Developer you will work on desktop application development with a focus on container configuration and deployment-related integration. You will tackle challenging technical problems and produce robust, well-tested solutions. You will apply strong programming fundamentals and automated testing practices to ensure correctness, converting complexity into clarity, and build reliable automation that supports stable, repeatable deployments.  In this role, you will gain deep knowledge of proprietary domain rules, company-specific sizing formulas, and deployment configuration logic through documentation and close pairing with subject-matter experts. Success requires excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities, clear communication with stakeholders, and careful attention to detail and quality.  Within your first year you will ramp up on the codebase, domain rules, tooling and begin contributing small-to-medium bug fixes and enhancements. You will take ownership of significant features from design through release and increase your sprint throughput, while also supporting in planning technical improvements in architecture and build/release workflows. Qualifications •    A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.  •    Strong experience with Go and Python in production environments. •    Overall understanding of software architecture, modular codebases, and refactoring strategies. •    Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment automation. •    Track record of delivering quick wins (bug fixes, telemetry improvements, test coverage). •    Experience with E2E testing and tooling for user flows. •    Ability to align multiple stakeholders and communicate status, risks, and milestones concisely. •    Data-driven mindset: able to reason with metrics, trade-offs, and evidence-based decisions. •    Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teams; comfortable breaking work into small, testable units. •    Comfortable with root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and implementing mitigations. •    Prior work breaking down a system into microservices or modular components. •    Familiarity with product support processes and bug triage workflows.
