Work tasks

This role focuses on leading a significant system migration, involving complex data handling and hands-on backend development.

• Architect & implement: Lead the in-house migration of a vendor application and align it for new international country platforms.
• Data excellence: Extract, transform, and merge complex historical data from legacy systems.
• Technical focus: Use Java and Spring Boot to solve intricate backend challenges and define robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate: Engage in a high-interaction office environment, ensuring a deep collective understanding of the project scope.

We are looking for

• 8–12 years of backend development experience.
• Advanced experience: Java (preferably Java 21) and Spring Boot.
• Data & Integration: Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) gained from large-scale projects and Kafka.
• Proactive and consultant-minded approach, challenging the status quo constructively.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience of JPA and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Artifactory.
