What you will do
At Volvo Buses you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
- Preparing and submitting documentation for regulatory approvals and publishing the new and updated certificates.
- Represent and coordinate within projects for new and existing products to meet all the statutory and mandatory requirements.
- Coordinate certification tests and evaluations with testing team, technical services, and type approval authorities.
- Be the subject matter expert for regulations, providing regulatory input and guidance to support projects and engineering teams.
- Monitor product changes to ensure compliance continuity.
Your future team
The homologation/certification team is a team of around ten engineers that is part of Product and Project Management (PMM) within Global Bus Technology (GBT). The team is in Gothenburg, but we are collaborating with teams in Poland, Brazil and Mexico. We also interact directly with our bus body builder customers. Each person in the team has a specific area of responsibility but with a lot of collaboration within the team, and with other stakeholders.

Mandatory requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years of vehicle certification experience and process knowledge.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in technology within relevant areas.
- Proficient in English, with working experiences from an international context.
The following experiences are meritorious:
- UN R10, R100, R155, and R156 experience.
- WVTA experience.
- Working at technical service or type approval authorities.
- KOLA, VDA, VDB, CDM, CDS system experience.
Personality requirements:
- Diligence, interest for regulations and technical information study and research.
- A doer attitude, with a willingness to grow and learn.
- Be a trustworthy collaborator, with good interpersonal and social skills.
