We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Service Consultant for a full-time position within the hotel and restaurant industry.
In this role, you will work on assignments within the hospitality sector, contributing to high-quality guest experiences while representing our company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
About the Role
As a Service Consultant, you will work across various hospitality assignments. Your work tasks may include:
- Restaurant service and bar tasks
- Easier kitchen tasks
- Conference and event service tasks
- Hotel reception and guest services
- Spa host and other spa related tasks
- Housekeeping tasks
- Other operational tasks within hospitality
This position requires independence, strong work ethic, and the ability to quickly adapt to new environments. You must be able to step into new workplaces and deliver quality performance from day one. Professional conduct, sound judgment, and reliability are essential.
Working Hours & Flexibility
This is a full-time (100%) position with scheduled working hours and extremely high demands for flexibility.
- Work is scheduled every other weekend.
- A scheduled weekend off may, according to industry guidelines, consist of either Friday–Saturday or Sunday–Monday.
- You are always entitled to a full Saturday–Sunday weekend off at least every fourth weekend, in accordance with applicable regulations.
Working hours may vary significantly depending on operational needs. This can include:
- Shifts starting as early as 05:00 AM
- Shifts ending as late as 04:00 AM
With full-time employment and alternating weekends, periods of consecutive working days will occur. You must therefore demonstrate strong stamina and be comfortable with periods of high work intensity. Work shifts length is usually 8 hours but that can vary up and down from day to day.
Scheduling is always arranged in compliance with all regulations regarding daily and weekly rest periods, in accordance with applicable labor laws and HRF union standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of documented experience within hotel and restaurant operations
- Strong service mindset and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Extremely high level of flexibility regarding both tasks and working hours
- Valid driver’s license (Category B)
- Access to your own vehicle
The role involves travel between different workplaces and working hours that are not always compatible with public transportation. A driver’s license and access to a private car are therefore mandatory.
Employment Terms
- Full-time position (100%)
- Salary span 29.000 - 31.000 SEK/Month
- 6-month probationary period, with the possibility of permanent employment
- Salary and compensation in line with industry standards
- Employment conditions aligned with the guidelines of the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Workers’ Union (HRF), including applicable staffing supplement provisions
- Overtime and inconvenient hours compensation according to industry practice
