To succeed, we combine telecommunication specifics with the latest AI technology to create true end-to-end solutions.  AI-driven development is redefining Ericsson, and this is your chance to influence both direction and speed. We’re pushing the boundaries — and we want you with us.  What you will do: * Act as a technology leader and help identify the AI technologies most critical to Ericsson’s software development efficiency.  * Explore opportunities, Innovative solutions and drive end-to-end development — from early feasibility to solutions in full operation.  * Contribute to automation in software development and design scalable AI applications used across the organization.  * Continuously grow your expertise while collaborating with highly skilled colleagues, academia, vendors, and open-source communities. The skills you bring: * Strong expertise in AI and software development  * MSc or PhD in a relevant field * ~5 years’ experience in software development, cloud technologies, and data science/data engineering  * Practical experience with GenAI, fine-tuning, retrieval models, small LLMs, and vector databases * Hands-on experience with Agentic AI (e.g. AWS Bedrock AgentCore) and protocols (e.g. MCP and A2A)  * Deep knowledge of ML techniques (e.g., regression models, Bayesian methods, neural networks, random forests, hyperparameter optimization, knowledge graphs)  * Proven experience building AI/ML applications with frameworks like Scikit-Learn and TensorFlow * Experience with Big Data processing  * Strong programming skills (Python, C++, Scala, Java, R)  * Excellent written and spoken English  * Strong analytical ability, creativity, and independence  * Collaborative, communicative, and easy to work with  Preferred Qualifications: * Telecommunication knowledge * Experience in developing AI solutions for applications/products * Ability to build and nurture internal and external communities * Experience in writing and presenting white papers, journal articles and technical blogs What to Include in Your Cover Letter: * The AI achievements you’re most proud of, including your specific role and the impact you made on the projects. * Any experience turning prototypes into scalable AI products About the Role: * Onsite three days per week to enable to work closely with highly experienced technical experts and for strong team collaboration (Kista, Stockholm) * This is a senior role, but we can make an opening for an outstanding junior candidate as well * Applications reviewed continuously; and recruitment might be finalized before the last day to apply, which is January 7
